Rainscreen cladding panels have to be cut to suit the façade onto which they are installed, to accommodate window and door apertures reveals and smaller dimensions of board at the perimeters of the façade. This important service is undertaken by specialist cutter merchants, with the tools, software and training to optimise board dimensions for each array of boards on any project. Cembrit sheathing boards – complementary yet essential to the external rainscreen

Sheathing boards are the internal element of a non load-bearing, rear-ventilated rainscreen cladding façade. The sheathing board protects the insulation from any rain water that penetrates the rainscreen but is permeable to water vapour emanating from activities in the habited spaces within the building.
