Cembrit Zeeland

Cembrit Zeeland fibre cement slates have an appearance close to that of sawn edge natural slate. Their attractive riven surface and clean square edges make them an ideal solution for situations where presentation is important but speed of installation is also a consideration. Mid-priced Cembrit Zeeland is, like all fibre cement slate, easy to install due to light weight, pre-holing and ability to be cut with hand tools. The low profile creates a more slate like appearance than thicker interlocking tiles. Dust suppression is unnecessary so Cembrit Zeeland lends itself to complex roofs with many cuts and abutments. Cembrit Zeeland does not require grading or sorting as natural slates do but will provide a finished roof of character.

Cembrit Diamond

Reminiscent of the original ‘red diamond’ slates first introduced in the first half of the 20th century their attractive ‘retro’ effect is particularly suited to re-roofing of properties from that era and for buildings in a rural setting. The cost-effective single lap format lends itself to simple duo-pitch roofs with no projections. It is manufactured to the highest European standards and is light-weight, pre-holed, particularly suitable for refurbishment projects. Cembrit Diamond fibre cement slate has all the advantages of other fibre cement slates and can be laid to roof pitches over 30 degrees. Diamond slates are manufactured using Portland cement together with superior blended synthetic and cellulose fibres. Diamond slates are pigmented during production and are fully compressed. They are finished with a high quality, semi-matt acrylic coloured coating to the top face and edges and a tinted high performance binder on the back face.
