CEMBRIT WINS AT WOODMANSTERNE!

sports pavilion in Woodmansterne in Surrey with Cemsix corrugated sheet
Cemsix sheets from Cembrit have been used as the roofing material on a brand new sports pavilion in Woodmansterne in Surrey. Supplied in ‘laurel green’ the Cemsix sheets fits well in the surroundings and complement the Pavilion’s natural wood weatherboard cladding.

Built at a cost of £800,000 the new pavilion was part funded by Reigate and Banstead Borough and the Football Association. Now the main focus of local sports activity, the new facility features a six-team changing room with disabled access, and officials' changing facilities. Designed by London-based architect, Baily Garner to meet Football Association (FA) requirements for modern changing facilities, it was built by Caterham-based construction firm, Farnrise Construction.

SIG Roofing Supplies in Eastbourne, supplied 170 Cemsix sheets to Industrial Construction for fitting on the mono-pitch main area of roof slope. Cemsix corrugated sheet is an excellent roofing material where there are large fluctuations in humidity as fibre cement absorbs moisture and slowly releases it to the atmosphere. This is typically the case in sporting venues, changing rooms and washing facilities. The wide range of accessories available from Cembrit meant the interesting design, incorporating ridges, bargeboards, flashings and eaves closures, could be securely weather proofed.
