Cembrit Stars on TV! Cembrit recently played a starring role in the hit TV series, “Tommy’s Fix Your House For Free?” on Discovery Real Time. The series sees Britain’s best loved builder Tommy Walsh and sustainable construction expert Liam Collins team up to help five families realise a dream building project using recycled, reclaimed and surplus-stock building materials. Cembrit supplied Jutland slates to a help complete a roofing project in Brockley, South London. In the series Tommy and Liam are giving help on projects, whether extension, loft conversion or mezzanine bedroom, and providing all of the materials for free to help make these projects bigger and better than the families could ever have dreamt of. We happened to have some Jutland slates with a slightly different tone of black coating available from an old production run which we were keeping for people who needed to match up slates for repair work. They exactly fitted the style of slate required for this project.” Jutland slates are compatible with the most common building materials and are available in a variety of colours and sizes including 600 x 300mm (24” x 12”) blue black which ideally suits the London area tradition.
