CEMBRIT DOES THE BUSINESS AT BOCAM PARK

Fibre cement slates used for several new-build office blocks on a business park project in Bridgend, Wales.
Cembrit, specialists in natural and fibre cement slates, has supplied Jutland slates for several new-build office blocks on a business park project in Bridgend, Wales. Installed by Camilleri Roofing of Cardiff, the Jutland slates provide this mixed use development with a high quality roofing solution at an affordable price.

Located just off Junction 35 of the M4 in Pencoed, Bocam Park is a 30-acre mixed use development including a 12-acre business park office project. Built by Carter Lauren Construction Ltd, Bocam is only half an hour away from both Swansea and Cardiff. The Blue-Black Jutland slates were used on three office blocks in Bocam Park to ensure that a traditional slate roof appearance combined well with modern performance standards.

“Jutland slates were a pleasure to work with” explains Camilleri Roofing. “Being fibre cement they are consistent, easy to work and install. They stand up well to the rigours of installation and you can rely on them to perform well for the lifetime of the building. We are always keen to work with them when we have the chance.”

Jutland slates are compatible with the most common building materials and are available in a variety of colours and sizes. They are finished with a high quality, semi-matt acrylic coating which is applied to both faces and all edges. They are manufactured in accordance with a quality assurance system to ISO 9001 and to the requirements of BS EN 492 product specification for fibre cement slates and their fittings. Made in line with these high standards, Jutland Slates are a good, cost-effective alternative to natural slate roofing for all types of public and private sector building projects.
